Y3K, WF Senate partner

by Mark Rowe

The Croydon-based manufacturer and distributor of HD CCTV and security systems, Y3K, has a distribution partnership with the electrical supplier WF Senate. This comes after a trial. WF Senate will become the main distribution channel for Y3K and its range of HD CCTV and security products, as of July 1, 2014.

Y3K adds that its overseas presence has also been bolstered after a rise in export sales since the beginning of 2014. Y3K has reported an uplift in IP CCTV sales, which now account for over half of the company’s turnover. Pictured left to right are Paul Singh, Y3K’s Group CEO, and Mark Ludwig, WF Senate MD, UK. Paul Singh said: “We’re delighted to be working with WF Senate, as this means we will be able to offer local support, advice and products to both our existing network of customers and new ones – all of whom will see the obvious benefits of working with such a far-reaching distribution partner.”

Y3K is now in its 14th year of trading, established in London in 2000, and has subsidiaries IQCCTV, Smart Witness and Xvision. Y3K’s product range includes HD 960H, HD SDI and HD IP CCTV cameras, recorders, monitors and accessories.

New for 2014 is a line-up of intelligent biometric access-control products from the manufacturer Anviz.
