The Keyholding Company (TKC) has brought out a Protection Readiness Tracker (PRT) after publication of Home Office guidance on meeting Martyn’s Law.
Designed for managers of large or fragmented property portfolios, the PRT provides a way to track counter-terrorism protection measures and procedures across sites. Security and facilities teams can understand what has been done, where gaps remain, and how progress is evolving – all within a single platform. Teams complete a short digital assessment for each site, add commentary and link supporting documents. Outputs feed into estate-level dashboards, where users can identify trends or view readiness by protection type.
Olly Rutt, Head of Risk Consultancy at TKC, said: “Risk professionals know that managing security across multiple properties quickly becomes complex, particularly when new requirements are introduced. Many organisations are still working through what the new guidance means for their estate in practice, and how to turn that into sensible, proportionate actions. Having followed the legislation closely as it developed, we built the PRT to help make that process clearer and easier to manage.
“The PRT provides a simple way for teams to track the counter terrorism measures and procedures they are introducing across each site and maintain a clear record of progress across their estate. The clients we have shared it with so far have been extremely positive about how much easier it will make managing this implementation across large portfolios.”
