BSIA renews

by Mark Rowe

The UK trade body the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has renewed its long-term partnership with IFSEC. The annual IFSEC show attracts 34,000 attendees including buyers, industry and hundreds of exhibitors. The BSIA has taken part in the show in a major capacity since the 1980s and will continue to do so into a fourth decade with its dedicated members stand and a proposed BSIA Services Pavilion for 2020.

Mike Reddington, Chief Executive, BSIA, pictured, said: “I can confirm the continuation of our long standing relationship with IFSEC International. This major event is an opportunity to see security technology put to the test and to find out first-hand from industry leaders across the security spectrum about what is happening in the industry. This event offers major benefits to our members and prospective members and the BSIA is proud to play an active role in bringing together the industry to engage with one another.”

And Simon Young, Exhibition Director, IFSEC International, said: “IFSEC International is the meeting place for the global security industry, and we welcome the BSIA’s continued partnership with our show. We are delighted that we will continue to work together into a new decade – the BSIA is the recognised kitemark of professionalism within the industry and we look forward to working together to make IFSEC 2020 the leading global show for the industry.”
