Oprema, Ava partner

by Mark Rowe

The distributor Oprema has announced a new partnership with Ava Security. Founded in 2020, Ava offers the Aware cloud-based video management system.

“By identifying all security threats before they become incidents, organisations can take a more proactive security posture,โ€ says Tormod Ree, CEO, Ava.

Available to purchase through Oprema, Avaโ€™s AI video management system Ava Aware, comes with integrated machine learning, accessible in the cloud or on-premises.

The product developer says that Aware delivers end-to-end video security, including integrated video and audio analytics powered by machine learning algorithms, smart appliances, and smart cameras. With Aware, you can manage your devices and security across sites with web and mobile-based interfaces accessible from anywhere without extra plug-ins or configurations.

Matthew Epps, pictured, Managing Director at Oprema said: โ€œAva will be a great addition to our portfolio and their innovative Ava Aware platform can add some real value for our customers. Aware can add intelligence to existing CCTV systems so customers donโ€™t need to spend money on new camera systems to utilise this technology, this can be a really cost-effective option. We are looking forward to working with Ava to help mobilise companies and keep them protected from all potential security threats – malicious, careless, or accidental.โ€
