A lot of access control systems still have to be run from a single PC thatโs stored on-site wherever the system is installed. And thatโs quite restrictive โ it means that any configuration of the system settings has to be done on that computer. And day-to-day management tasks like adding and deleting users, credentials, and time zones can also only be done by someone physically on-site. That lack of flexibility is holding you back, as well as adding time, cost, and risk to your access control system.
Operational efficiency in administrative tasks is important in any business. And if your administrative tasks are restricted to a single PC device thatโs located in one specific location, itโs extremely difficult to achieve efficiency.
