The London and Home Counties-based, privately-owned security firm Banham has acquired Swindon-based Tops Security. Founded in 1926, Banham remain a provider of home security systems in London and the Southeast of England; and their bell box a familiar sight on suburban houses. The family-run business, now in its fourth generation of the family, reports significant year-on-year growth for almost a century in operation.
The firmโs streak of acquisitions has continued since Willenhall-based manufacturers, Guardian Locks, in 2021. The Group have been expanding their reach outside of their specialty areas of London and Southeast of England for several years, providing security to such places as Bristol and Bath. Hence the acquisition of Tops. With Banham now having a local presence in Swindon, this will allow them to further their reach providing home owners and businesses with locks, alarms and integrated security solutions around the West Country, the firm says.
Founded in 2008, Tops install and offer technical support for commercial and domestic clients in Swindon and surrounds.
