Kentec, DVS partner

by Mark Rowe

Kentec Electronics, the fire safety product manufacturer, reports that the electronic fire and security distributor, DVS, has become a member of Kentec’s Authorised Distributors Plus (KAD+) scheme.

This means DVS is offering Kentec’s fire safety products including the Taktis fire alarm panel, pictured; and new wired addressable fire detection solution, K-System. DVSโ€™ commercial director, Gavin Dunleavy, said: โ€œThis collaboration marks a significant step in DVSโ€™ commitment to expanding its fire offering, ensuring customers have access to best-in-class, compliant and innovative fire detection technology. As a KAD+, we donโ€™t just supply the full Kentec product rangeโ€”we also offer expert technical support and training. Our in-house team is working closely with Kentec to become specialists in their products, ensuring top-tier service.โ€

The KAD+ programme of fire safety installers and distributors can use the KAD+ logo. DVSโ€™ technical staff have received training from Kentec about the firm’s product range.

Johnny Martin, Business Development Manager at Kentec, added: โ€œDVS has a strong reputation for delivering top security and fire solutions. As a KAD+ partner, they can now offer our world-class fire panels, backed by their in-house technical support โ€“ making them a perfect fit for the Kentec brand.โ€

DVS are among the exhibitors at The Fire Safety & Security Event at the Birmingham NEC, running from Tuesday to Thursday, April 8 to 10, in Hall 5 at stand C45.
