Footprints Conductive Education Centre is Skills for Security’s official charity partner for 2025. The Centre, based in Nottingham, serves children living with mobility and communication difficulties across the East Midlands. The charity provides babies and children, and their families, with the tools and support they need.
Skills for Security says it aims to support Footprints’ mission by engaging its employees in fundraising and awareness activities over the year. Stephen Frew, Business and Charity Manager at Footprints says: “The support of Skills for Security will be invaluable to Footprints, enabling us to continue providing essential services to more children and families across the East Midlands. This partnership and its focus on fundraising offer a unique opportunity to raise awareness of our work and enhance our ability to help children grow, thrive, and achieve their potential. We are excited to work collectively to make a lasting impact.”
The collaboration reflects a broader commitment to community engagement, SfS adds. As a UK fire and security apprenticeship provider, Skills for Security says that it believes in breaking down barriers, fostering inclusion, and encouraging individuals to reach their full potential.
Supporting Footprints allows an extension of these values, helping children and families overcome difficulties and achieve meaningful progress. Team members at Skills for Security add that they are passionate about giving back and view this partnership as an opportunity to make a real difference – not just through finance but by getting involved in volunteering.
David Scott, Managing Director at Skills for Security, added: “We are proud to partner with Footprints Conductive Education Centre, whose work aligns with our values of empowerment and community. Footprintsโ dedication to helping children overcome difficulties is truly inspiring, and we are committed to supporting them in their mission. Together, we hope to make a significant difference for the children and families they support and work with.”
