OSPAs sponsor

by Mark Rowe

TEAM Software by WorkWave, which offers software for security guarding companies, is the headline sponsor for the 2022 United States Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs). First covering Norway, and now running from Australia to the UK, each country’s OSPAs recognise companies and individuals in the security sector.

The awards scheme in each place has been set up with security associations and groups. Designed to be independent and inclusive, the criteria for the OSPAs are based on research on key factors that contribute to and characterise outstanding performance.

Mike Taylor, TEAM President, said: “We’re proud to sponsor the U.K. OSPAs as an avenue to recognise the excellence that comprises the essential work of our industry. Under our new WorkWave umbrella, TEAM offers a combined 100 years of expertise and expertise partnering with the best service providers in the world. We’ve seen the dedication and sacrifice those in the security industry put forth on a daily basis and we’re honoured to celebrate them through this memorable event.”

Martin Gill, founder of the OSPAs, is an academic criminologist and founder and director at Perpetuity Research and Consultancy International, based in the UK. He said: “We’re delighted TEAM Software has committed to sponsoring the UK OSPAs, which is part of an ongoing three-year strategic OSPAs partnership in a number of countries to include Australia, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, the UK and the US TEAM’s commitment to raise standards within the security sector globally goes hand in hand with the OSPAs’ ambition and values to recognise outstanding performers and set a bench mark for those working in the sector to aspire to.”

TEAM has previously sponsored the US OSPAs, held with the ASIS International annual event, Global Security Exchange (GSX), which this year is due to run from September 12 to 14 in Atlanta, and online.
