Video spot detector

by Mark Rowe

Dahua Technology, the Chinese manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products based in Hangzhou, reports that its 3.0 megapixel intelligent video spot detector (DH-ITC304) was awarded ITS Golden Lion at the ITS 2014 show.

The company remained in the list of “China Top 30 ITS Brands” and “China ITS Recommendation Brand” for a third time. For more information of the winning product visit http://t.cn/Rv3LiZp.

ITS 2014, held in June in Shenzhen, China, covered intelligent transportation and system integration products.

The 3.0 megapixel intelligent video spot detector (DH-ITC304) has a low illumination sensor, which is the makers say suitable for poor lighting, and its built-in processor is for parking spot detection, vehicle recognition and other intelligent functions without extra processing devices. One DH-ITC304 spot detector is able to detect three standard spots at the same time, which increases efficiency, according to the company.

The device is Wi-Fi or SD card optional, which means that it can work with the all-in-one camera for parking guidance and card finding systems over the internet. A seven-colour light can show the user whether there is any vacant spot or not. For more on the parking guidance system visit http://t.cn/RvnEI1H.

Bill Zhou, Senior ITS Engineer at Dahua Technology, said: “Dahua Technology is not only a world leader in video surveillance, and actually, we’ve started our intelligent traffic business from 2006. Being backed up with strong company strength, Dahua ITS solution and products have a lead on easy installation, configuration and integration with multiple functions provided such as video and image collecting, license plate recognition, rule violence analytics and etc., this award is exactly a good proof to the point.”
