The life safety alarms manufacturer, C-TEC, has launched a series of CAST XFP technical help videos for engineers. The aim, to give on-demand guidance on the installation and operation of the CAST XFP fire detection and alarm systems.
The videos include advice on updating firmware, auto addressing, adding new devices and taking downloads from the panel using a PC.ย Terry Gordon, C-TECโs Engineering/Technical Support Manager, said: โOur new help videos are designed to assist anyone installing CAST XFP. As a soft-addressing system, itโs very flexible and can programmed with our handheld programmer or by using the panelโs auto address function for fast sequential programming of all devices. Our videos highlight all these options and also share guidance on identifying loop integrity faults, updating firmware and much more.โ
The companyโs technical support services include a new CAST technical support team, a new dedicated tech support telephone number and cloud-based AI-enabled call logging software.
