Rhino Doors reports its new North West design and manufacturing facility is coming on stream. The company, which produces engineered doors for clients including the Ministry of Defence and Transport for London, now has a fully operational workshop at its new site in Bamber Bridge, Lancashire.
This expanded factory means, the company says, it will now be able to design and produce its range of personnel doors in both its Port Talbot and Lancashire sites.
Stuart Lawrence, Group Managing Director of Rhino Engineering Group, said: “It’s brilliant to see our brand-new facility up and running, with plenty of work underway on a number of our projects. A key part of our continued expansion will be this new site, which will allow us to scale up our manufacturing capabilities and develop and broaden our product offering.”
As well as working with TfL, Rhino Doors has worked across the transport sector, carrying out manufacturing and installation work for a major North American rail tunnel project. The company recently announced the appointment of two new directors, as featured in the July print edition of Professional Security magazine; Jon Walter joined the company as its Managing Director, while Matthew Richards took on the role of Project Engineering Director.
