American Dynamics Offers VideoEdge Desktop/Mini-Tower For Smaller Scale NVR Users

American Dynamics, part of Tyco Security Products, announces the expansion of the VideoEdge NVR product family with the introduction of the desktop/mini-tower.

This new NVR offers users the enterprise scalability and functionality of VideoEdge, in a small, simple version. Businesses such as small retail stores, banks and other commercial sites, with installations of two to 32 IP cameras, can benefit from VideoEdge’s ultra-reliable recording, integrated “always-on” motion analytics and seamless “streaming” playback of recorded video.  The desktop/mini-tower NVR model is also ideal for larger organizations that prefer a decentralized video storage architecture.

The new desktop/mini-tower offers built-in storage of 500GB, 1TB or as much as 2TB. It can handle up to 32 cameras with 50Mbps maximum per recorder. The VideoEdge NVR desktop/mini-tower is ideal for working with remote facilities or satellite locations, in both large and small installations.

The VideoEdge NVR comes with a three-year hardware warranty, including parts such as hard disks and fans, and is available through Tyco Security Products worldwide distribution channels.
