by Mark Rowe

Eagle Eye Networks, the US-based cloud video surveillance company, has announced plans to open a new data centre in Doha, Qatar. The firm says it’s to meet growing customer demand in the region.

Eagle Eye operates a global network of data centres that are purpose-built for video surveillance, cyber security and artificial intelligence (AI) enabled. The centres are managed directly by Eagle Eye personnel.

Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks, said: “Large enterprise and multi-location customers in the Upper Gulf Region are looking to cloud video surveillance for customizable security systems with advanced analytics and AI capabilities that provide business intelligence as well as security. Opening a new data center reinforces our commitment to this market where we already have a seasoned sales and technical support team. We want to empower our reseller partners to succeed with local and global resources.

“Eagle Eye Networks will continue to invest in this important region to keep up with demand and to support our valued resellers. We expect to open additional data centers elsewhere in the Gulf Region.”

And Rishi Lodhia, Eagle Eye Networks Managing Director EMEA, added that Eagle Eye will exhibit at the Intersec show in Dubai, stand S1-F30, from Sunday to Tuesday, January 16 to 18. “We’re excited to meet our customers and to showcase how our cloud video surveillance products and our latest AI technology will help them grow their business and be more efficient at the same time.”
