Steel door launch

by msecadm4921

Delta Security has launched the Delta Model 9 – a steel door with electro magnetic locks designed to control access to communal areas. The door is made using a combination of a hollow steel frame and European rolled steel leaves that are welded and ground to a smooth finish. It incorporates a mag lock fixed within a steel hollow section secured by stainless steel security screws. Entry is controlled via a proximity fob (for residents) or call panel (for visitors and deliveries).

Dave Mundy, Operations Manager at Delta Security, says that the Delta Model 9 is suited to applications where a door is required to protect communal areas. He says: “Often aluminium doors are not up to the task.

They are too easy to vandalise and too difficult to fix. The Delta Model 9 doors, however, are considerably more robust, and afford properties and individuals a much greater degree of protection. They are built to last.”

Dave says that reducing emergency call-outs and maintenance visits is an attraction for schools and local housing authorities on tight budgets and needing to protect the public purse: “With housing groups and schools investing in a series of regeneration and refurbishment projects across the capital, the impact that such a comparatively humble product as a door can have in protecting that investment is remarkable.”
